In honor of Good Friday, I decided to revisit a post from a few weeks back. I’ve also posted over at Coffee Talk. Blessings to each of you, as we remember this day that our Lord gave all for us.

Luke 23:33 When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him . . .
Over the last few weeks, we’ve spent a lot of time with Jesus at the cross. There’s a lot to cover, and we’ll be there for a little while longer. Yet, I’ve noticed that the people who were there, who actually wrote a first person experience, actually kept it short and to the point. Luke’s words are a perfect example. There they crucified him.
There – at a place called The Skull, which represents evil.
They – people just like you and me.
Crucified – killed in the most hideous, shameful death that existed.
Him. Him. The innocent, perfect, all-loving, all-forgiving, all-merciful Son of the Almighty God.
There they crucified him.
Thank You, Jesus, for taking my place.
Amen
It is wonderful to find your blog. I too, wish to communicate the goodness of God and to praise Him at every opportunity. God bless you this Resurrection Sunday!
Thank you, Karen! God bless you, too, and have a wonderful Easter!
