Pray for Chloe

Dear Friends,

Please pray for Chloe. She just turned one year old and has been waiting for a liver transplant. At church this morning, her parents received a phone call from Dallas. A liver is waiting, and they are on their way.

You can read more about Chloe here. Just yesterday, she came to my house. I held her in my arms as she plucked an apple from our tree. “Bapple!” she said. This is the child that had been chosen for a pre-arranged marriage for Foster. Except that she is actually related to Foster, so it wouldn’t be quite legal. And we don’t do arranged marriages. But if we did . . .

Please pray for Chloe, for her family and friends, and for the precious family that is surely going through such great loss, in order for Chloe to now have a liver.

Thank you, dear friends, and I will keep you posted.

–Renae

Dear Father, Please be with Chloe right now. Prepare her little body for surgery. Please put everything in place for her to accept this liver, and to live a long and healthy life, so that everyone will point to her and say, “Look what God did!”

Please be with Jennifer and Mike, her parents. Give them the peace that only You can give. Do the same for all those who love Chloe so much.

Please be with the family who is losing a loved one. Let them feel Your presence, Your comfort, Your love.

Amen

Renae we’re all here praying for Chloe right now.

Loving Father, we entrust baby Chloe to your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed. May she restored to soundness of health and live a healthy and happy life in harmony with you and with those around her. We ask also that you give her parents the strength and courage they need to carry them through this ordeal. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

I’m so excited that they’ve found a liver that is a possible match. I will be praying for all to go smoothly.
