I just received word that Chloe’s surgery did not actually begin until after midnight, and took only 5 1/2 hours. The doctor was pleased with how smoothly it all went! 🙂
She is in the Intensive Care Unit, and will be there for a few weeks. They have put in a bile duct so they can monitor and clean her liver for a couple of months before she flies solo.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, my precious friends for your prayers, offered up through the night. I have confirmation that there were people praying all over the U.S., the U.K., Singapore, Indonesia, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and India. Please let me know if your location was left off of this list.
Please continue to pray that Chloe’s little body will accept this liver. I am praying that God will continue to work miracles in her life, and that this liver will function as if it was meant to be there from birth.
Please also continue to pray for the dear family of the infant who lost his or her life.
I love you all so much. I know that Jennifer and Mike and all of Chloe’s family and friends thank you, deeply and humbly, for your continued prayers.
How did you guess I was up all night?!! Thank God Renae, for this first hurdle completed.
Oh, thank you, Jackie! For everything! Thank you for your prayers, and for the post on your blog. I largely credit your prayers and the prayers of your readers for the quick and smooth surgery. Thank you for continuing to pray for Chloe and her parents.
To God be the glory!
I’m praying for sweet baby Chloe. Thanks for making us aware of this need. I’m convinced that babies and children are some of God’s favorite people and he hold them in a special place in his heart. May his peace rest with the families involved.
Thanks so much, Linda.
