Mark 10:13 – 16 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
***Listen to the Children*** Years ago, I wrote and recorded this song. I thought it went perfectly with this passage, and I’d like to share it with you. The children singing backup were my 5th grade students at the time. Hope you enjoy it!
Wow! Remind me to have you sit behind me in worship. I’ll open my mouth and sing with you behind me. I’ll sound great!!
Love the song. Love the writer. Love the God!!
Thank you, Renae.
Thanks Robin. But, you have a son who wants to be a worship leader. He must have inherited those musical genes from somewhere . . .
Renae…you have a beautiful voice, this song is wonderful! I was talking to my friend on the phone while this song was playing and we stopped to listen together:) She said it is a wonderful song too!
Thanks for posting it!
Thank you, MistiPearl! I’m glad you both enjoyed it! (It has been sitting in a box in my closet for years, so I figured it was time to get it out and dust it off!) 🙂
Blessings to you!
Thanks for posting a song!
Your voice is clear and pure and tone exact!
What a treat, Renae!
I’m sure the members of that fifth grade class
will never forget that experience!
Thanks, Carol-Ann! I’ll know I’ll never forget THEM. 🙂

Oh, I enjoyed that so much! I had no idea you could sing, too!! And the children sounded just great, too!
Thanks, Pam and Mommy Cracked! It was fun pulling that out again. 😉
Renae, this blew me away. It made me so happy to hear you sing! What a multi-talented woman you are! You have a beautiful voice, and the song was wonderful. I love music and singing, too. I’m an alto. Bet we could do a heck of a duet 🙂
Thanks so much, Cheryl! Let’s have a “jam” session next time we see each other, okay?
