Making Changes

Happy Weekend, and Happy New Year! Over the coming weeks, I will be making a few minor changes to my website. Nothing major. But I’ve been getting some feedback, and I’m going to try some new things. I’d love to hear your opinions!

One of the things I’ve heard is that my front page is confusing because, while my URL is www.renaebrumbaugh.com, the title (Morning Coffee) didn’t have my name in it. So people looking for me might think they’ve landed at the wrong place. So, as you can see, I’ve changed my title to Morning Coffee with Renae. Not sure I like it; but I’m trying it out. I live in a state of confusion, so the last thing I want to do is confuse anybody else.

I’ve also heard that pictures, added to my posts, might be nice. So I’m trying, y’all. I’m really trying. You know this is hard for me.

One other change has nothing to do with my blog. It has to do with my hair. I cut it all off! I’m getting new professional photos made soon (I just dread doing it), but in the meantime, I thought you all might like to see my new ‘do. And it gives me practice uploading pictures, too.

Renae headshot by you.

So, let me know what you think! I love you all.

Be blessed!

Thank you, MistiPearl! “Smart” is definitely a step up from cute and cuddly! 😉

And all this time I thought you lived in the Lone Star State! When did you move to the State of Confusion?

The hairdo is smashing! It has that casual-yet-glamorous, slightly mussy look! You can relax and look forward to photo day!

I forgot “SueNell” was aka “Mooooooom” 🙂
Have chuckled a few times over her little comments!

Carol-Ann, I maintain a dual residency. 😉 Thanks for the hairdo buildup! And yes, MOOOOOOM is my bestest friend; don’t know what I’d do without her! 🙂

I think you look like you are about 23 (maybe 25) with the new hairdo! Very hip! I’m sure we’ll be seeing it on other celebs very soon!

Oh, Alyssa, this is a perfect example of why I love you soooooooooo much!

Yes, Meg Ryan called this morning and asked about my hair stylist. And I have Reba on hold right now. Better get back to her.

    HA!

Renae! I read Alyssa’s comment and am shocked! Are you really older than 25?

hahahah Carol-Ann. Lightning is going to strike soon.

Well, I was married in 1991. And I was out of college and had already taught school a year when I got married. So, that would make me at LEAST 25 now.

    Okay. I’ll be honest. I’m 26.

Okay now you’re treading on my hair land! I do love it — very cute and SASSY! How’s that for a word? Can’t wait to see it in person!

Oh, Anne! You know I want to be YOU! Now, if only I could get my legs to grow longer . . . 😉

    Renae,
I like Morning Coffee with Renae.

I also like the hairdo, but even more, I love your smile!

Thanks, Lillie! The new title will take some getting used to, so it’s great to hear feedback.

I’m glad you like the hair and the smile! 🙂

I love you DO! That’s exactly the way I want to wear mine. But I’ll bet God blessed you with thick hair, didn’t He? Mine is thin, fine, straight, and gray.

Oh well. I’m printing out your picture to take to my stylist. You live just too far away for me to make an appointment with yours!

I have to say “Amen!” to all the adjectives in the other comments.

I want to look sassy, too.

Awww, thanks, Jean! I love your hair, too, and have often admired your picture!

Just hop on a plane to TX. We’ll take care of ‘ya! But if you just have to use YOUR stylist instead of mine, at least send a picture! We can be sassy together. 😉
